Elementary School Principal
    Establish and promote high academic and behavioral standards and expectations for all students, faculty and staff Manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear operations and practices of the elementary school including create & annually review both a Staff & Parent/Student handbook Supervise and/or give oversight to the instructional programs, establish master schedule, and encourage the use of a variety of student-centered instructional strategies and materials Appraise faculty annually according to guidelines for supervision, evaluation and professional development plan Ensure effective communication with all members of the school community Provide oversight to annual standardized testing and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders in a timely fashion Supervise and administer discipline in accordance with the Parent/Student Handbook Oversee student activities, ensure proper supervision and student safety for activities during the school day and outside school hours Evaluate student admission files, conduct interview and dialog with faculty and staff as necessary before making recommendation for admission to Superintendent Meet, provide orientation and welcome new families post enrollment as needed Coordinate or oversee weekly chapel programs Protect confidentiality of records and information gained as part of professional duties Fulfills duties as a mandatory reporting institution and instructs faculty/staff in reporting process Work in collaboration with the Superintendent and the Business Manager to plan and maintain the budget set forth annually and provide input for long-term budgetary needs Participate in the planning and unfolding of safety protocol and drills for elementary faculty, staff, and students Oversee the curricular and textbook adoption processes for elementary school Attends all-school community events & Admissions team meetings In consultation with the Academic Team, plan Professional Development schedule and coordinate elementary PD efforts throughout the school year Meet regularly with the elementary school leadership team to vet ideas and advance school goals Attend School Board meetings as invited to attend by the School Board Chair

Sign, adhere to and defend the CCT Statement of Faith and Employee Standards of Conduct Have an understanding and commitment to the vision of CCT and to its philosophy of education Hold and maintain a valid ACSI administrative certificate Have successful experience as an elementary principal and a classroom teacher Possess knowledge of elementary school curriculum and instruction, faculty and staff development and evaluation Demonstrate ability and/or have experience or training with budget process and fiscal management Able to lead change and work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, staff, students and parents Possess excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate capacity to build an inviting and relational community
